I’ll Take 10: Mediheal Collagen Ampoule Pads
When I learned that collagen production slowed down after about age 25 and continues down that path the older we get, I knew that when the time came, I’d definitely be adding collagen to my daily skincare routine. Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body and is also what gives skin its strength, firmness and elasticity. It keeps skin supple, wrinkle free and contributes to an even complexion.
You can imagine why all the dolls in their late 20s and up would want to get their hands on a product with collagen. (It’s me - I’m the dolls.)
There are more collagen products on the market than I can count, but the Collagen Ampoule pads from Korean beauty brand, Mediheal really caught my eye. Interestingly enough the first time I saw the product was in Costco. Honestly, I should have picked it up right there, but I didn’t. Fighting the urge to be an absolute product junkie, I told myself, “I have the Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides powder at home.”
Jokes on me, because I ended up getting it anyway and since I didn’t act in the moment, I missed out on the wonderful value pack at Costco. Thankfully, Ulta had it in stock, and I was one step closer to more supple skin.
The pads are super soft and easy to glide all over your face and neck. They’re also soaked in collagen, ceramides and milk protein which creates a dewy and hydrating finish - my face loved every drop. Packaging includes tweezers so that you’re able to pick up a pad without using your hands, which is a nice touch. The product also promises to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and can be used as a mask, though I prefer to swipe all over my face.
HONEST REVIEW
I’m going to give it to you straight - I see a difference in my skin. It’s not giving fillers or anything, but certainly smoother and more plump. The fine lines under my eyes and my smile lines are less noticeable too. Will I keep using it? Absolutely, I’m already on my second jar.
